This site is operated by Boston Sense LLC, Boston, Massachusetts. “We” and “us” mean Boston Sense LLC.

The content is informational

Everything on this site is published for general information. It is not technical, legal, financial, medical or professional advice and should not be relied on as the basis for a decision. Nothing here creates a client relationship or an obligation on us to provide services.

We describe our approach and our thinking. Outcomes depend on circumstances we do not control, and nothing on this site is a guarantee of any particular result.

Service engagements are separate

Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, deliverables, fees, confidentiality, intellectual property and liability. Where that agreement and these terms differ, that agreement governs the work. Indicative figures shown on this site are illustrative and are not an offer.

Sense Factory tools

Sense Factory projects, including IntentDB, Reclaim, RtBt and Problems.school, are research and development work. Some are experiments rather than released products, and availability is confirmed case by case. Where a tool is made available to you, it is provided under its own terms, which govern your use of it. Nothing on this site is a commitment that any tool will be released, supported or maintained.

Intellectual property

The content, design, code, wordmark and name on this site belong to Boston Sense LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may read, print and share pages for your own reference, with attribution. You may not republish, resell, systematically copy, scrape or use our content to train a model without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site unlawfully, or to send unlawful, misleading or abusive content through our forms;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems or any connected service;
• interfere with the site’s operation, including through automated scraping, excessive requests or denial-of-service activity;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

Third-party links and services

We link to sites and use services we do not control, including Calendly for scheduling, Formspree for form handling and external project sites. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and notices.

Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boston Sense LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this site. Our total liability for claims relating to the site is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Boston Sense LLC against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect through this site and why. It forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Massachusetts have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
